J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc.

Terms of Agreement:

J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc., owner, and employees, are not responsible for the following:

1. Damage to software, hardware, loss of business, loss of time, loss of money or other during the repair, testing, or installation of software or equipment.

2 Damage to software, hardware due to floods, natural disaster, theft, fire or any other damage outside of J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. control.

3. J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc., owners and employees will not be held responsible for any incompatibilities between existing software or hardware and new software or hardware installed or purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc.

4. The customer is responsible for backing up and saving any software, data or other valuable information on their computer or other electronic equipment.

5. Customer Understands and Agrees to the following Labor Warranty, Hardware Warranty / Exchange & above Terms of Agreement.

 

J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. Warranty

HARDWARE Warranty:

No J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. warranty on CPUs (processors).  We will test the CPU at the time of purchase if requested by customer.   Intel Retail Box CPUs have a warranty through Intel. AMD Retail Box CPUs have a warranty through AMD. CPU (processor) sales are final.  Absolutely no returns on CPUs. 

          


Thirty (30) days (from date of purchase) for all other hardware (except CPUs) purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc.
This does not include physical damage or damage to mainboards due to over-clocking.

 

LABOR Warranty:
Thirty (30) days (from date of install/delivery/pickup) for all hardware installed by J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc.

 

RETURN Warranty:
Thirty (30) days (from date of purchase) for all unopened hardware purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. 
15% Restocking fee is added to all non-defective returns.  Products missing manuals, cables or any other packaging material may not be returned.  ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS.

 

HARDWARE Exchange:
Thirty (30) days (from date of purchase) on all defective hardware.

Memory has a 7 day return.  If returned, refund for memory will be given at the current market price or the original invoice price whichever is lower.  Because there are so many memory types we are not responsible for the memory working in your system.

 

SOFTWARE:
Software sales are final.  No returns on Software.

All prices and availability subject to change without notice.  J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. reserves the right to limit quantities.  This page subject to change without notice.

Labor Warranty:

This covers new & used parts, purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. or new parts brought in by the customer, for 30 days forward from the date of installation. This means that removal and installing of a replacement piece of hardware is covered during this period. It does not cover anything else.

Hardware Warranty / Exchange:

There is NO warranty for parts NOT purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. New & Used hardware, purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc., that is defective maybe exchanged within a 30 day period (7 day period on memory) from the time of purchase with receipt. New & Used hardware, purchased from J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc., that has NOT been opened, used, tampered with, dropped or damaged in anyway, maybe returned within a 30 day period from the time of purchase with receipt. 15% Restocking fee is added to all non-defective returns.  See your parts manufacture for other warranty information.

 

HARD DRIVE DATA WAIVER OF LIABILITY


I,____________________________, grant permission to J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. to perform any action they deem necessary to attempt to repair my computer. I understand and acknowledge that the computer repair procedure could result in loss of part, or all, of the data stored thereon and that J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. makes no warranty or guarantee as to the success of its attempts. Furthermore, I release J.O.T.S. Computer Services Inc. from any liability for any data loss which may occur during, or as a result of, these procedures. I also release J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. from any liability for any theft, damage or destruction to the computer and any other hardware sent to J.O.T.S. Computer Services Inc. in connection with this Waiver. I agree and acknowledge that if J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. is determined to be responsible for a loss that the sole liability of J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. for the foregoing shall be the fair market value of such hardware, as reasonably determined by J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. All claims for liability and/or loss including without limitation any indirect, incidental or consequential damages which may occur as a result of any J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. action (or inaction) are hereby expressly waived. I also understand and acknowledge that, even if the computer is successfully repaired, there is a possibility that individual files and directories on the drive may still be inaccessible due to the type of damage originally sustained.
 

I further acknowledge that, J.O.T.S. Computer Services, Inc. has strongly recommended that all data be backed up by customer and that a copy of such backed up data should be retained by the customer.

 I acknowledge and agree to all the above conditions.
